TakingStock wants everyone to be able to read our news and analysis, including people with disabilities. We are working to make takingstock.co easier to use and understand.
What we do
- We build the site on Wix Studio, which provides accessibility features such as keyboard navigation, screen-reader support and responsive layouts.
- We use readable text sizes and strong colour contrast, and we add descriptions to images where we can.
- We write in clear Malayalam and aim to keep headings and layout consistent across pages.
Limits
We are a small publication, and we have not yet had the site independently tested for accessibility. Some pages or older articles may not work perfectly with assistive technology. We keep improving as we find problems.
